SXSW came and then left...us with a whole new appreciation of sleep.

The week leading up to the Get Up art show was a shotgun blast of opportunity; we mashed it up on the street team end where we met some really cool cats from everywhere, we coordinated the art show at the Blackalicious Afterparty featuring Cut Chemist of Jurassic 5, Pigeon John, and Lifesavas late Wed late night 12pm-6am. Big ups to the whole Cali crew that came through and rocked a damn party. Headturning art was shown by Eenks, Shek One, illego, Marc (Mofoz), Reggie Warlock, Lucas Negrete, Super, and more.

In between finishing art frames and installations on Friday night, we still managed to check out some great SXSW performances by HeadKrack & K-Otix, and even found time to meet our boy Roger, with the hot off the press Mofoz' "512" shirts.

So shirts in hand, custom kicks drying, sound system bought, people called, and 2 hours of sleep on the horizon...we went into Saturday.

So, here it is Saturday and its time to roll out to Motive 807 and throw a damn bash. We met up with Reggie who was hanging paintings with care, Superstar DJ's who were more than ready to get the much anticipated Sqratch Karnival going, and our Rock Star soundman Ryan who unleashed and tamed the beats and mic checks for the evening.

Art was supplied by illego, Shek One, Marc Zuazua, Lucas Negrete, Reggie Warlock, and Stephen Donovan.Get Up.

The show was sick, 6 turntables, open to some of SXSW's best DJ's, art that later threatened the sanity of a passerby (thanks, illego), mic wrecking by Group Therapy (Zeale 32, Phranchyze) Savvi, V-Zilla, GT Garza, and Pitch Brown. Records spun by oour personal favorites Prhymemates' Scuba, Remix(Houston), and our main man fron the windyland, MadAdam (Chicago).

We also unleashed some new shirt designs...glow in the dark inks? we got you covered. Custom shoes...yup, custom caps...where's Reg?
