Souled Out 2008 kicked ass.Crew 54 did the damn thing, they killed their set and really set a precedent for the evening. It was as if we had three headliners in one show.Remix trecked down from the H to keep the vinyl going and heads bobbin throughout the evening.Next up Lower Life Form put on a superb set despite a few feedback issues that seem to hang over our head at our beloved Victory Grill. The crowd was dancing, moving, and imbibing much alomohol. good times.

In between sets, guests of the show were pleased to walk arountd the building where NY/Cali collective Trust Your Struggle were painting a 75 ft mural for the Grill. These amazing artists were on the Austin leg of a national mural tour, and they definitely left East Austin a gift that will inspire for years to come.Phranchyze stepped up to blaze a set and definitely let the good folk at the Grill know why their is such a buzz surrounding him. the Austin Chronicle was on hand to write a review and photograph the freestyle pro.And then After the Party was the afterparty; which was also a sneak peek into our latest venture...an art gallery on downtown 5th street aptly named FIFTH.

Zeale, Dubb Sicks, Soul Bomber, and more blessed the mic while Mez and others kept the wheels of steel at bay.anyways..it was a great time that we shared with friends from Brooklyn, Cali, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Corpus and more.Big ups to the homie Lucas (Stay Busy Crew) for the long hours to prepare the gallery, to Airica for all the support and help in throwing the show..Krishna my homie, for helping out with all the sound, Clifford at the Grill for all the help when lack of sleep begins to deteriorate common sense....as well as everyone that showed love and support for us as well as everyone involved..stay up and a thanks from the bottom of ours.You can check out our pictures on our myspace pics.
